In June 2017 we launched 层, our flexible workspace offer, as a response to the changes in the way people are working.
层 is a deliberately differentiated concept, providing occupiers with high quality workspace they can brand themselves, on a shorter term basis. It is an important part of our Campus proposition, providing occupiers with the flexibility to expand at short notice or to take ad hoc meeting or events space.
层 customers on our campuses benefit from a range of additional facilities and services beyond their workspace. 在我们的校园, we provide high quality, 安全的环境, with places which support wellbeing and open public spaces to relax outside the offices. Our 层 customers also have the opportunity to network with a range of similar and complementary organisations.
层 caters to ‘scale up’ businesses, as well as providing additional space to larger businesses or existing occupiers for expansion or project teams. It has quickly become an important part of our campus offer, enabling us to attract a broader range of businesses to our places, including technology, particularly FinTech and media.
层 workspace now covers a total of 338,000 sq ft, predominately at our 校园.
In addition, we have also opened 层 Club at both 帕丁顿中心 and Broadgate. 层 Club provides ad hoc meeting and events space, as well as lounge and café areas and is available to all occupiers on the campus.
层 leases are all-inclusive, 包括租, business rates and service charges, 同时也很安全, fully backed-up WiFi, 接待, cleaning and maintenance services. By owning the buildings in which 层 operates, we can deliver an optimum level of service and customer experience.
